Who is responsible
Chris Good, a sole trader, trading as Digital Builders Community, is responsible for the personal information we use to administer this community. Contact chris@booshdigital.co.uk or write to Court Farm, Cullompton, EX15 1BG.
We use Circle to host the community and Stripe for membership payments. Keeping information in those services does not remove our responsibilities for the ways we use it.
Information and purposes
We use the information you provide when joining, managing your account, posting or contacting us. This may include your name, email, optional profile details, contributions, membership status, transaction records and support correspondence. Our providers also process technical, security and usage information to deliver their services.

Required account and payment information is needed to provide a paid membership. Optional profile fields and contributions are your choice. You can avoid sharing sensitive information and should not post another person’s confidential or personal data without permission and a lawful basis.
Who can see information
Our community administrators can access information needed to run and moderate the community. Other members can see profile information and contributions according to the relevant Circle space and profile settings. Visibility depends on the configuration of each space. Check its audience before posting.
Circle processes community information for us and also uses some information for its own purposes under its terms. Stripe processes payment and related transaction information. We can see billing and payment-status information, but do not receive your full payment-card number through the normal checkout.
We may also use necessary hosting, security and email services, and disclose information where legally required or reasonably necessary to handle a dispute. We do not sell your personal information.
Provider information is available at https://circle.so/privacy and https://stripe.com/privacy. Contact us about information used to operate this community.
Website analytics, cookies and video
The public website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate information about page usage and performance. Cloudflare states that this product does not use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting for its analytics and does not collect or use visitors’ personal data for that purpose.
This description applies to Cloudflare Web Analytics. Hosting, security, account login, checkout and video services may process technical information or use necessary storage for their own functions. Optional technologies that require consent will be enabled only after the required consent has been obtained.
Where a page offers an embedded third-party video, the provider may process technical information when the player is loaded or used. The page will explain the provider and provide any consent choice needed for the actual implementation. Following an external video link takes you to that provider’s service and privacy practices.
Where information is processed
Providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. For transfers we control that require protection, we use the applicable provider arrangements and safeguards required by UK data-protection law. You can contact us for details and a copy of relevant safeguards, subject to necessary redactions.
Retention
We keep account information while needed to provide membership and manage your account. Ending a subscription may leave a Circle profile in place. You can ask us to delete your account and explain what happens to your posts.
We retain transaction and related records for the period required by the tax and accounting rules applying to our business. We keep support, complaint and security records only while needed to resolve the matter, protect the community or address a legal claim. We periodically review these purposes and remove information no longer required.
Contributions may remain useful to a discussion after you leave. We will consider deletion or anonymisation requests and explain any information we must retain. Provider backup copies may remain for their applicable deletion cycle and will not be used as active community records.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information. You can withdraw consent for uses based on consent without affecting earlier lawful use.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. You can unsubscribe from optional marketing separately from essential membership and billing messages.
Contact chris@booshdigital.co.uk to exercise your rights. We may need to verify your identity. We will explain any legal exception or extension that applies. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ and may also have rights to contact your local regulator.
We do not use automated profiling to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Routine subscription and payment-status controls help administer access. Contact us if an automated access restriction appears incorrect so we can review it.
This community is intended for adults aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us.
We will update this notice when our practices change and bring significant changes to members’ attention.
